Midwest Outfitters' fishing rod socks are made of polymer fiber mesh that does not soak up moisture and resists folding.
We've balanced a tight weave with flexibility that keeps small eyelets from easily poking through the mesh while allowing enough give to let the rod cover slide over fishing line guides.
Since our rod covers use a tighter weave mesh it is important to install and remove them by pushing them over the large eyelet rather than pulling them. Pushing the rod sock allows it to expand and glide over the guide.
